Hold on Pennsylvania, Unibet is Coming to You

According to the latest reports coming from the US, sports betting firm Unibet have begun operations in Pennsylvania through as partnership with Mohegan Sun Pocono. This will be their second expansion into the ever-growing market, with the gambling operator taking small steps. Let’s take a look.

The first bit of business which Unibet did to get in the US market was done only a couple of weeks ago, when the sports betting firm was announced as the official partner of the New Jersey Devils, setting up a sportsbook in New Jersey. To be fair to them, New Jersey is a hot spot for sports betting and now Pennsylvania is another fine location to continue their presence in the US gambling market.

Unibet officials will be fully pleased with this addition to their plans as Pennsylvania reported a growth in profit for August

Manuel Stan, SVP Kindred US, commented on the matter:

“We are excited and proud to partner with Mohegan Sun Pocono to welcome patrons to our new sportsbook and offer a great extension to our online product in one of the largest states to regulate both online sports betting and casino.”

Following his words, Aviram Alroy, Vice President of Interactive Gaming at Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, stated the following:

“We’ve aligned with one of the world’s best online casino and sportsbook operators in online regulated markets, which will allow us to offer a best-in-class experience to our current clients and attract new fans.”
